Wireless speakers let you put audio anywhere you want

With wireless speakers you can listen to your stereo, TV or computer audio just about anywhere around your house or apartment. Whether your out in the garden, relaxing by the pool, working in the yard or just relaxing on the porch, wireless speakers bring the sound to you.

Wireless speaker system isn't just for stereos. You can listen to your favorite TV show or sports program just by plugging the speaker system into the audio output. Or if you have a satellite receiver, you can enjoy commercial-free radio stations while you're getting a suntan or working in the garage. Plug the speaker system into your computer audio outputs and listen to your MP3s anywhere you want.

The biggest benefit of wireless speakers is in their name. Wireless. You don't have to worry about running wires which lets you get creative and gives great flexibility when placing speakers. It's especially cool for parties where you can make sure everybody hears the music without having to deafen those in the main room near the stereo. Plus your guests won't be tripping over power cables.

Most wireless speakers today are rechargeable, which means you don't need to keep spending money on expensive alkaline batteries. You'll get about 3-4 hours of use between charging. Another options is to use powered wireless speakers which require an outlet nearby to plug them into. The good thing is that you never have to recharge them. On the downside, they give you less freedom when placing your speakers.

Wireless speakers are available in a wide variety of designs. You can go for a high tech look or slim, sleek designs.

One limitation of wireless speakers are that you may get interference from other items using the same transmitting frequency such as a cordless phone. Look for speakers that have automatic tuning and a channel selector to prevent signal interference. Another issue you need to consider is that the wireless speakers will only work within 150 feet of the transmitter.
